Maryam Nawaz bars party workers from using abusive language against critics

ISLAMABAD – Maryam Nawaz, daughter of prime minister Nawaz Sharif issued gag orders to party workers regarding the use of abusive language on social media and otherwise following the landmark Panama verdict.

Maryam, who is quite active on the microblogging site, tweeted a ‘Hadith’ on Sunday that a believer refrains from using vulgar and obscene phrases.

Minutes after the first tweet, she urged workers of PML-N to avoid using harsh language against the critics of ruling party.

Afterwards, another member argued that it was “painful” to see someone levelling allegations against their party head. Maryam responded that as a “torch-bearer” of Nawaz’s legacy,  they should uphold it as well.
