Lahore police fail to nab transgender gang

LAHORE – Lahore police have failed to arrest five members of a ‘transgenders’ dacoit gang which has been committing heinous crimes for a long time.

At least 59 cases related to kidnappings for ransom, thefts and murders have been registered against this gang in different police stations of the city, reported Dunya TV on Wednesday.

The same group has also been involved in crimes in other cities of the Punjab. Some 11 cases have been registered against this infamous criminal gang in Faisalabad, 6 Khanewal, 9 Okara, 4 Sheikhupura, 3 Jhelum, 10 Sukkur, 18 Karachi and 12 in Multan.

According to police reports, the members of this group are fair with normal height, strong and good at shooting.

The officers said that security forces of other cities have also complained about this gang after which the authorities along with law enforcement agencies have started an operation against them.
