MUMBAI – As many as 26 Pakistani nationals have gone missing in the Indian city of Mumbai, it emerged on Saturday.
The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad has launched an operation to track the Pakistanis who went missing some two to three weeks back. Special teams have been to all hotels and lodging houses in the city.
According to Indian media reports, the Pakistanis did not provide correct details on their C-forms. The C form provides details about the address of Pakistani nationals in India along with copies of passport, visa, and residential permit.
The disappearance of Pakistanis can further disturb the fraught relations between the nuclear-armed neighbours.
