BAHAWALPUR – At least six people were killed and 25 injured when a passenger bus met an accident in Chani Goth near Uch Sharif on Thursday night.
As per reports, the ill-fated bus was going to Karachi from Lahore when it fell from a bridge in the area causing fatalities. It is being reported that incident happened due to overspeeding.
The injured have been shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital and Victoria Hospital in Bahawalpur, rescue sources informed, adding that dead bodies were recovered by cutting the body of the bus.
On June 13, six people were killed and 15 others injured after a collision of a passenger bus and truck near Ada Tufail Abad in Burewala.
