No loadshedding at Sehri, Iftar amp; Taraveeh, assures Kh Asif

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has assured that there will be no loadshedding during Sehri, iftar and Taraveen timings, Radio Pakistan reported.

In a statement in Islamabad on Sunday, he said 93% urban and 86% rural areas are being provided uninterrupted electricity.

He said situation is returning to normal and load-shedding is being controlled gradually.

Talking about shortage of electricity in Karachi he said that K-Electric is responsible for it while Ministry of Water and Power is supplying 650MW electricity to Karachi.

The Minister said the electricity situation is being monitored continuously except for system constraints. The federal complaint cell is also operating round the clock for ratification of technical faults.
