LAHORE (Staff Report) – Indian authorities handed over 88 Pakistani fishermen to Punjab Rangers at Wagha Border on Sunday.
The Indian government took this step as a goodwill gesture in reciprocation to release of one hundred and thirteen Indian fishermen by Pakistan recently.
Meanwhile, over three hundred Sikh Yatrees arrived in Lahore today to take part in the death anniversary rituals of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh in the city.
Evacuee Property Trust Board Chairman Siddiq-ul Farooq and other officials of the Board warmly received the Yatrees at the Wagha Railway Station.
