LONDON – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif confirmed on Thursday that the recently conducted positron emission tomography (PET) and gallium scan had pointed out cancer growth in her wife, Kulsoom Nawaz’s body.
In a brief interaction with newsmen in London, Nawaz Sharif said that his wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz was undergoing radiotherapy and six chemotherapy sessions had been done.
The Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz ‘Quaid for life’ said that the doctors had advised going for radiotherapy, as Begum Kulsoom had already undergone surgeries, Geo News reported.
