ABBOTTABAD – A team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has raided illegal money exchanger during a raid in Mansehra and seized a huge amount of local, foreign currencies on the special directive of Director Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The FIA team led by Assistant Director Naeem Khan raided at a place in Mansehra where accused Muhammad Afzal was allegedly providing the facility of illegal money exchange and Hundi (illegal remittance) to the people in the garb of Tanawal Jewellers.
During the raid, the team recovered and seized Rs 350,000 Pakistani currency along with foreign currency of Saudi Riyal 140,000 and Kuwaiti Dinar 50.
The team also registered a case under section 4/23 FER ACT 1947 and have started the investigation.
