PTI still owes me Rs80 million: DJ Butt

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has yet to pay Rs80 million to DJ Butt, who was hired for sit-ins in Islamabad and Gujrat, DJ Butt claimed on Monday.

Talking to a private TV channel, Asif Butt aka DJ Butt said he was thinking about approaching court against Imran Khan and other PTI leaders for non-payment.

“During sit-ins, I was appointed as the official sound engineer of PTI. But now Mr Khan doesn’t even answer my calls. I have to clear the payments of many people dealing in lights and generator.

Nobody knew PTI’s sit-ins would continue for 126 days. I was assured to be paid one week after the conclusion of sit-ins. However, six months have already been passed and I am deciding file a petition against Imran Khan and his party,” he added.

Butt went on to say that Aleem Khan, through his personal assistant, asked him to agree on Rs30 million, even less than the original amount still unpaid.

Following the claims of DJ Butt, PTI leader Naeemul Haq called him ‘the hero of sit-ins’ and assured to remove all his grievances soon.
