LAHORE (Staff Reporter) – All public and private sector schools will reopen on Tuesday.
As per details, after a meeting with private schools association’s delegation, provincial government issued a notification to reopen all schools from Tuesday (tomorrow).
According to sources, now all A plus and A category schools across the province have also agreed to open the schools on Tuesday.
On Sunday, after a meeting with the representatives of All Pakistan Schools Federation, Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashhood announced reopening of all schools (public and private) in Punjab on Monday (today). The minister also said that all the cases registered against schools for inadequate security arrangements would be quashed.
During the meeting, there were some harsh exchanges between District Coordination Officer (DCO) and the representatives of the schools’ body during the meeting and a group of the representatives left the negotiations as well. However, they were convinced to return later on.
