Army Chief organizes a gathering that will finally shut down conspiracy theorists

ISLAMABAD – Suspicions over the faith of Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa should finally finish as army chief organised a Mehfil-e-Milad and an invitation card for that is making rounds over the internet.

Baseless propaganda regarding the Ahmedi faith of COAS Gen Bajwa started soon after PM Nawaz finalised his name for army’s top slot.

However, a Mehfil-e-Milad arranged at the Army Guest House on Friday with Gen Bajwa as host cleared the air regarding the faith of military head.

Invitation card for Mehfil-e-Milad hosted by COAS Gen Bajwa

Mehfil-e-Milad is a special religious event in which speakers recite Naat and Durood to praise Allah’s last messenger Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and its arranged by Muslims every year especially during the Islamic month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.

Gen Bajwa along with his better half also hosted a Mehfil-e-Milad to pay tribute to the greatest reformist on earth (PBUH). The invitation cards for which were also distributed and a snapshot of that went viral vindicating that the vilification campaign regarding his faith was baseless.

Earlier, as part of a venomous propaganda, it was also alleged that the father of Gen Bajwa was buried at Rabwah ( a graveyard that Ahmadis deem as a sacred and holy site) but investigations revealed that his father Col. Muhammad Iqbal Bajwa was actually laid to rest in Cheemianwala graveyard in Gakhar city.
