MULTAN – SalamAir, Oman’s first budget airline, has announced three direct flights from the Middle Eastern country to Pakistan, starting February 8 (Thursday).
The weekly flights are set to take-off at 23:55 from Muscat, arriving in Multan at 3:30. The return flights will depart from Multan at 4:50 arriving in Muscat at 6:35.
Return tickets can be booked at a price of OMR88 (nearly Rs25,300), according to the airline.
Securing final clearances from Pakistani aviation authorities, Multan is SalamAir’s third destination in Pakistan; the airline currently flies to Sialkot and Karachi.
“The Pakistani community makes up about 13 per cent of the local expatriates working in Oman, it is therefore no surprise that this route has been one of the highest in demand,” Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir, told Times of Oman.
