British High Commissioner calls on Army chief, lauds Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism

ISLAMABAD – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday met with British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew and discussed regional security and matters of mutual interest.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department, Thomas Drew lauded the efforts of Pakistan for establishing peace and stability in the region.

Matters of mutual interest and the security situation of the region were discussed during the meeting, according to ISPR.

The Army chief highlighted the importance of support from all nations to bring sustainable peace in the region and combat terrorism.
