RAWALPINDI – Karachi Kings on Wednesday defeated Quetta Gladiators by seven wickets in 22nd match of the Pakistan Super League season nine (PSL 9) at Rawalpindi stadium.
Shan Masood-led Kings surpassed the 119 runs target with 27 balls remaining, thanked to Tim Seifert for his 49-run innings.
After Seifert gave an early boost to the total, James Vince and Shoaib Malik paired up to ensure the victory as they made 27 each.
Earlier, Hasan Ali claimed four-wicket haul to restrict Gladiators to 118 in 19.1 overs. Saud Shakeel remained top scorer from Gladiators with 33 runs.

Karachi Kings are struggling as they managed to win only 2 out of 6 matches and currently sitting second last on the points table. To qualify for playoffs, Shan Masood's men need to win all their remaining games and aim for a top 2 finish.
Gladiators, except for their loss to Sultans, have had a good season, currently in second place with a 5-point lead over their nearest rival.
