Murad Ali Shah visits City Courts, reviews overall security situation

KARACHI (Web Desk) - Chief minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, on Tuesday, visited city courts in Karachi to express solidarity with the victims of the blast in Quetta and reviewed the overall security situation there.

Murad visited different sections of the court including the parking area. The Chief Minister was accompanied by senior officials during his visit.

Earlier on Monday, Murad presided over a high-level meeting and directed that adequate security arrangements be made so that the citizens could celebrate Independence day free from fear.

The meeting was attended by advisers to CM, Mola Bux Chandio, Murtaza Wahab, Chief Secretary Siddique Memon, Inspector general police (IGP) AD Khwaja, Additional IG Karachi Mushtaq Maher, Additional IG CTD Sanaullah Abbasi, Home secretary, Commissioner  Karachi Aijaz Ali Khan, provincial heads of secret agencies, representative of Rangers and all the DIGs of the city and other officials.

The Chief Minister directed the IGP to strengthen security at all the important places and start snap checking the city and the rest of Sindh as well.

It was decided that close coordination among all the agencies would be strengthened so that a coordinated security net could be established.
