National Health Programme to be expanded to Balochistan

QUETTA (Staff Report) – Federal Health Secretary Muhammad Ayub Sheikh has said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would soon visit Quetta to inaugurate National Health Programme in Balochistan.

Speaking at a meeting held in connection with “Prime Minister National Health Programme,” Ayub Sheikh said in the first phase, the programme will be launched in Quetta, Lasbela, Loralai and Kech district of Balochistan.

On the occasion, Chief Secretary Balochistan Saifullah Chattah said the government is going to launch Prime Minister National Health Program in the province, which would benefit two hundred and forty two thousand people.

Previously the National Health Programme was confined to Islamabad and Azad Jammu and Kashmir only.
