France beat Morocco to set up World Cup final with Argentina

Favorites France ended underdog Morocco’s World Cup dream with 2-0 victory at the Al Bayt Stadium on Wednesday.

The North African side and its former colonizer lock horns in a semifinal, for the first time the two sides meet in a football contest.

Theo Hernandez and Randal Kolo Muani pushed their best taking the European side to finals. They scored in the 5th minute, with Hernandez putting one in the back of the net.

With another goal in the 79th as Randal Kolo Muani, France outfoxed Morocco.

Romain Saïss led squad put up a commendable fight and placed France under pressure throughout the game, especially in the second half, but failed to earned any score.

Earlier with quarter finals heroics, Morocco becomes the African and the Arab World’s team to reach to advance level of World Cup while after Wednesday’s game France are now the fifth defending champions to reach the World Cup final, joining Italy, Brazil, Brazil, and Argentina.
