KARACHI (Web Desk) – The SIndh High Court has extended the interim bail of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Waseem Akhtar in two case until February 1.
The MQM leader and nominee for Karachi mayor appeared before the court on Monday to seek extension in his interim bail in the two cases registered against him at SITE and Sohrab Goth police stations.
The cases were lodged against Akhtar for allegedly making provocative speeches and berating national institutions.
The MQM leader is currently facing 20 separate cases at different police stations of Karachi.
