MANSEHRA – Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto has accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan of providing millions to a “Taliban-run” madrassah, adding that he had wanted to open a Taliban office in the country.
“The country has not forgotten his pro-Taliban views and his failure to condemn Taliban,” he added.
While addressing a public gathering in Mansehra on Saturday, Bilawal said Imran Khan had not done anything for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He reiterated that 2018 general elections will be his first and Imran’s last.
“You talk about being Sadiq and Ameen, but you come up with a new lie every time,” he said.
The PPP chairperson said that he is well aware of the change brought in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that health and education system in the province has been destroyed.
“You keep on praising your [KP’s] Ehtesab Commission for arresting a sitting minister. What about the accusations made by that sitting minister on KP’s chief minister,” asked Bilawal.
Criticising the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Bilawal said the latter is threatening to bring people to streets in an attempt to pressurise institutions against his disqualification.
“You have looted this country and you are a criminal, not an innocent,” the PPP chief said while referring to the deposed PM. “You have been disqualified for life by Supreme Court.”
