KOHAT (Web Desk) – Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that they had set a deadline of Dec 2016 for the return of Afghan refugees and hoped that the federal government would make all preparations in this regard without delay.
Talking to newsmen on Tuesday, he said that the province could not bear the burden of 1.8 million refugees anymore whose stay was being extended since 2009.

Mr Khattak said that Peshawar Expressway, Jand to Kohat highway and laying of railway track between Peshawar and Dera Ismail Khan would bring prosperity to the province and benefit its people, Dawn News reported.
He maintained that the Peshawar Expressway had been included in the federal budget and the project was running smoothly according to the original plan.
Moreover, he said that no decision had been taken about construction of oil refinery in Karak and it would be commissioned at a suitable place as recommended by the consultants.
