NA body on Climate Change to meet on Friday

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) - National Assembly's Standing Committee on Climate Change will meet here Friday at the Parliament House.

The meeting will be chaired by Dr.Hafeez ur Rehman Khan Drishak and other members of the committee.

According to the committee notification the discussion would be on the steps taken by the M\o Climate change to stop deforestation and climate change policy of the government. The meeting will highlight
the measures taken to address vulnerability of climate change.

The meeting will also discuss on the matters on the pre/post visits abroad by the officers of M/o Climate Change during the last one year and matters discussed and recommendation proposal given by the
think tanks regarding climate change.

The meeting will also confirm the minutes of previous meeting held on 01-09-2015 and the consideration of the sub-committee report constituted by the standing committee on calling attention no.33
moved by Naeema Kishwer Khan regarding loss of life, property,livestock and infrastructure due to recent rains and floods in the country.
