KARACHI: The accountability watchdog arrested the Chairman of Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company Khursheed Jamali on Wednesday for his involvement in the Sindh Transmission and Dispatch Company located in Nooriabad.
In a notification released by NAB, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested another three for committing irregularities in the affairs of Sindh Transmission and Dispatch Company.
According to media reports, an arrest warrant for Jamali was issued two days ago while his name has also been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) in connection with the fake bank accounts case.
Jamali has been serving as a consultant for the Sindh government in various departments.
The NAB authorities are expected to produce the accused before an accountability court today or tomorrow.
