Gen Raheel Sharif to visit Kabul on December 27

RAWALPINDI (Staff Report) -Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif will Sunday (December 27) fly to Kabul, said Director General ISPR Lt-General Asim Saleem Bajwa on Friday.

According to his twitter post, during the day-long visit Raheel Sharif will hold meeting with Afghan military and political leadership.

Media reports suggest that army chief is expected to take up the proposed Afghan-led peace dialogue with Taliban insurgents in meeting with Afghan leadership.
