ISLAMABAD (Online) – Shaukat Hayat, a BS-22 officer of Police Service, has assumed the charge of Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police.
On his arrival at NH&MP Headquarters, DIG Operations NH&MP Ghulam Rasool Zahid, DIG Headquarters Haleena Saeed and other senior officers warmly welcomed him. He is the 13th Inspector General of National Highways & Motorway Police.
Previously, Shaukat Hayat was serving as Additional Inspector General Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Earlier, he had served on various senior posts of police department in KPK.
Mr Hayat is known as professional, dedicated and honest police officer in Police Service of Pakistan.
The outgoing IG National Highway and Motorway Police Muhammad Saleem Bhatti has been posted as senior member of Prime Minster Inspection Commission.
