ISLAMABAD – Governor Sindh Imran Ismail Sunday said horse-trading was a menace like corruption and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government would not do horse trading.
Talking to a private news channel, the governor expressed that there was no uncertain situation in the province and he just wanted to play the role of a bridge between the federal and provincial government.
Ismail said he had made efforts to work with Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah but latter’s attitude was not encouraging, adding the chief minister should resign morally after his name was mentioned in the JIT report on money laundering.
“The incumbent government and its leadership had zero tolerance against corruption and not a single case was registered against opposition leadership during the ongoing tenure of the PTI’s government,” he asserted.
Ismail said the JIT report had unveiled most of the things against PPP leadership, adding National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was working independently and the government had no link with its official matters.
