BEIJING – China has welcomed the meeting between Pakistan and India to discuss and finalize modalities for the Kartarpur Corridor, the Radio Pakistan reported.
During a press briefing in Beijing, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang expressed the hope that relevant progress will help to further ease tensions between India and Pakistan and improve the regional situation.
Geng urged both the sides to continue to demonstrate goodwill to settle differences through dialogues and jointly safeguard regional peace and stability.

Technical experts from India and Pakistan are meeting today (Tuesday) at the proposed zero points to discuss and finalize the Kartarpur Corridor alignment.
Last week, Pakistan and India agreed to work expeditiously on the opening of Kartarpur Corridor to facilitate the Sikh pilgrims to visit their holy sites on both sides of the border.
