LAHORE (Web Desk) – Earthquake tremors were felt in Lahore, Islamabad and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Monday afternoon, local media reported.
The earthquake measured 6.7 on the Richter scale, according to the US Geological Survey. The epicenter of the earthquake was the border area between Afghanistan and Tajikistan.

People rushed out of their homes and offices in panic as the earthquake tremors struck.
Tremors were felt as far as Peshawar, Swat, Mansehra, Chitral, Malakand, Fata, Bajaur Agency, Rawalpindi, Kashmir, Mardan, Peshawar, Abbotabad, Parachinar and Haripur.
Indian-held Kashmir was also rocked by strong jolts.
No casualties have been reported.
