LAHORE – Dust-thunderstorm/rain is expected at scattered places in Punjab, including the provincial capital, during the next 24 hours.
According to the Met department, dust-thunderstorm/rain is expected in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sahiwal, DG Khan, Multan and Bahawalpur, divisions.
The maximum temperature in provincial capital was recorded as 39 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
The weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country during the past 24 hours. However, dust-thunderstorm/rain occurred at isolated places in Bahawalpur division.
According to the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave is affecting western parts of the country and likely to grip upper/central parts of the country during the next 2 to 3 days.
