Maryam demands PM Imran s resignation, release of Nawaz Sharif in the same breath

MANDI BAHAUDDIN – Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader, Maryam Nawaz demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan to resign and go home besides reiterating the demand for the release of incarcerated Nawaz Sharif.

Addressing a rally at Mandi Bahauddin in the wee hours of Monday, the Vice President of PML-N said that keeping former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in jail will be a crime now, referring to the video of an accountability court judge, Muhammad Arshad.

In her speech, Maryam stressed that Nawaz will be released, and will become prime minister once more, hastening to add that this time [he will be] more powerful than ever before.

‘Nawaz Sharif is not only innocent but valiant as well,’ Maryam said and equated the ongoing accountability with victimization.

Maryam kept engaging the audience as she asked whether inflation has increased in the country, to which the attendees responded in the affirmative.

‘Nawaz Sharif! you have won,’ Maryam said while referring the passion and determination of those present at the rally.
