TEHRAN – Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has expressed concerns on Muslims’ situation in Occupied Kashmir.
In a speech on Wednesday, Iran’s leader said they have good relations with the government of India, however, said it should refrain from oppressing Kashmiris.
“We expect the government of India to adopt a just policy towards the noble people of Kashmir, and to refrain from oppressing and bullying the Muslim people of this region,” Khamenei said.

The leader of the Revolution pinned blame on ‘evil’ British government for Kashmir crisis as well as Indo-Pak conflict.
“The British left this open wound in this region on purpose to make the conflict in Kashmir drag on,” he said.
The remarks came days after India revoked the special status granted to Kashmir by scrapping article 370 and 35A of the constitution besides imposing a communication blackout, drawing the ire of Kashmiris and Pakistanis.
