RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Four serving Major-Generals of the Pakistan Army have been promoted to the rank of Liutenant General, the military’s PR wing Inter-Services Public Relations announced on Tuesday.
The ISPR said that the two-star generals promoted to three-star included Major-General Sadiq Ali, Umar Durrani, Aamir Riaz and Asim Saleem Bajwa, who has been serving as the DG ISPR himself.
Maj-Gen Sadiq Ali has been serving as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Bahawalpur, while Aamir Riaz has been serving as the Director-General Military Operations (DGMO).
Maj-Gen Umar Farooq Durrani has been serving as the Vice Chief of General Staff.
