MUZAFARABAD (Staff Report) – Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and the world over are observing Black Day on Tuesday in protest against Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
It was on 27th October in 1947 when Indian troops invaded Jammu and Kashmir in sheer violation of the Partition Plan of the Subcontinent. The day will be marked with complete shutdown in Indian Occupied Kashmir. The call for the shutdown has been given by the Kashmiri leadership.
Special arrangements have been made to observe this day with full intensity at national level.
In this regard, protest rallies are being carried out throughout Pakistan including Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
Protest would also be carried out in front of the Indian High Commission in Islamabad. A memorandum against Indian illegal occupation would also be presented to the UN officials.
Capital Development Authority in Islamabad and provincial and district governments have made special arrangement to display banners and hoarding highlighting the Indian cruel rule in occupied Kashmir.
Protest rallies and processions will also be carried out in front of Indian High commissions and embassies throughout the world to condemn the Indian illegal occupation of Kashmir.
