PESHAWAR (Staff Reported) – At least two terrorists were killed while five others were injured in an exchange of firing with security forces on Saturday in Kurram Agency.
As per details, terrorists attacked on the security forces check-post near Pak-Afghan border. Security forces retaliated, killing two terrorists and injuring five others.
Security officials confirmed the clash between security forces and terrorists.
Kurram Agency is at the frontline of Pakistan’s battle against an insurgency that began after the US-led invasion of Afghanistan forced Taliban and al Qaeda militants to flee across the border.
Meanwhile, three terrorists belonging to a banned outfit have been arrested in Peshawar.
Arms and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists.
