LAHORE (Staff Report) – Thick fog has engulfed several parts of national highways and motorways reducing the visibility to one hundred meters.
According to a spokesperson of National Highway, there is dense fog in Sahiwal, Okara, Chichawatni, Khanewal, Multan, Bahawalpur and Lodhran.
Fog blanket has reduced the visibility on Lahore Islamabad, Islamabad-Peshawar, Pindi Bhattian Faisalabad and Faisalabad -Gojra Motorways. The Sheikhupura-Pindi Bhatian section of M-2 has been closed for traffic.
Motorway Police has said that commuters should inquire about fog situation from Motorway Police helpline 130 before starting travel on highways and motorways.
