Students with outstanding grades can get a FREE bike for their academic achievements. This opportunity is available to government students in initial stage. More details are yet to share in coming days.
PM Shehbaz chaired a meeting to discuss measures for promotion of electric vehicles in Asian nation. He called for development of a detailed financial model and enhancements to the licensing regulations governing electric vehicle production in Pakistan.
Sharif was of view that these vehicles will not only help conserve foreign currency by reducing the need for imported petrol and diesel but will also benefit the environment.
In the meeting, Prime Minister directed CDA to chalk out comprehensive plan for implementing E-powered public transport in capital city. In last two years, forty-nine licenses for the local production of two- and three-wheeled electric vehicles have been issued, with twenty-five factories already operational.
The first license for producing four-wheeled electric vehicles domestically was granted in September, and the initial locally manufactured electric car is expected to be on the market by December.
Furthermore, the establishment of recharging stations for electric vehicles will be prioritized.
