Gold continues to reach new highs as per tola rate up by Rs2,500

Gold Breaks All Record To Hit Another High In Pakistan

KARACHI – Gold continued to climb to new record highs in domestic market of Pakistan on Wednesday amid upward trend in the international market.

Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price moved up by Rs2,500 to reach all-time high of Rs275,500.

The price of 10-gram also increased by Rs2,144 to settle at Rs236,197.

In international market, the price of the yellow metal increased by $25 to reach $2,635 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver rates also witnessed gains in the local market as per tola price increased by Rs100 to reach Rs3,050 while the rate of 10-gram settled at Rs2,614.88 after registering gains of Rs85.74.

A day earlier, per tola gold price increased by Rs1,100 to reach Rs273,000. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold moved up by Rs973 to close at Rs234,053.
