KARACHI (Web Desk) – Karachi’s electricity distribution company K-Electric has suggested Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Sharmila Faruqi on Twitter to switch off TV and conserve some electricity.
As per details, an interesting exchange of tweets during the Pakistan-India match in Asia Cup 2016 on Saturday, between K-Electric and Sharmila Faruqi.
K-Electric had announced to provide uninterrupted electric supply to Karachi throughout the match. But Pakistani team’s poor batting disappointed cricket fans and they longed for load shedding, so that they could get some relief from that distressing game.
PPP leader Sharmila also felt like any other cricket fan and tweeted to K-Electric, “Why they were not loadshedding as Pakistani want some relief.

K-Electric also respond and advised Sharmila to switch off her TV off and conserve some electricity.
