RAWALPINDI (Online) – A Customs Court in Rawalpindi has granted a one-day exemption to fashion model Ayyan Ali from appearing in the court in the currency smuggling case.
When Customs Court Judge Aftab Ahmad Khan took up the case for hearing on Thursday, Ayyan’s counsel Nasir Abbas filed an application seeking one day exemption for his client from court appearance.
The counsel took the plea that his client was unwell, therefore, she be granted one-day exemption.
The court sought medical report of Ayyan Ali and accepted her plea for one-day exemption.
The court adjourned the hearing till March 17 with a directive that Ayyan should be produced in next hearing
