KP Assembly pays rich tributes to Sardar Soran Singh

PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Friday paid rich tributes to former member provincial assembly (MPA) Sardar Soran Singh for playing active role in proceedings of the assembly and serving public.

Sardar Soran Singh was killed in Buner a week back.

Members from both treasury and opposition benches demanded a special package for family of Sardar Soran Singh.

They expressed concerned over target killing and asked the government to protect life and property of people.

The House also passed a resolution for giving incentives to family of Sardar Soran Singh.

Expressing his views, Chief Minister Pervez Khattak assured the House that children of Sardar Soran Singh will be paid monthly scholarship besides meeting their other needs. He said incentives of Shaheed package will also be given to his family.

The Chief Minister also assured the House that case will be registered under terrorism act against those who confessed the crime.

Later, the speaker adjourned the session to meet again on Monday afternoon.
