PM Nawaz due in Quetta today

QUETTA (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is due to arrive in Quetta on one-day official trour to lay foundation stones different development projects on Monday (today).

Quetta Mayor Kalimullah Khan Kakar, while talking to newsmen, said that Prime Minister is taking keen interest in the beautification of Quetta city.

Kalimullah Kakar said Mizan Chouk Parking plaza, Guli Mar Chouk under-pass and widening of Seryab road Quetta are among the important projects.

He hoped with the completion of these projects several problems being faced by the people of Quetta would be addressed.

Another news reports quoted central Vice President Pakistan Muslim League-N Senator Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasar as saying that  National Health Insurance program will also be launched in four districts of Balochistan during the premier’s visit.

The first phase of the National Health Program will be launched in Quetta, Loralai, Turbat and Lasbela. Under this program, three hundred thousand poor patients would avail free medical treatment.
