ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – An Interior Ministry spokesperson said on Sunday that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan’s meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Raheel Sharif was neither secret nor extra-ordinary.
The spokesman confirmed that the meeting took place, saying that both leaders met the COAS at the Army House at 11.00 am on Saturday.
Matters relating to recent drone attack in Balochistan, important points of National Action Plan (NAP) and overall security situation were discussed during the meeting, he said.
He added that unnecessary speculations regarding the meeting should be avoided.
