ISLAMABAD (Online) – The Meteorological Department has predicted that the onset of monsoon showers are likely to begin in Pakistan during the coming week, most probably on Monday/Tuesday in the upper parts of the country.
The monsoon rains are likely to start from the upper parts of the country and spread towards central and southern regions as the week progresses.
During the first spell, widespread rains with isolated heavy thundershowers and strong gusty winds are expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA and Kashmir.
Scattered rains and dust thundershowers are also expected in Sindh and Balochistan in the coming week.
