ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif approved a summary extending the upper age limit of candidates appearing in Central Superior Services (CSS) examinations from 28 to 30 years here on Friday.
The summary was moved by the planning and development ministry, a few months ago, but the prime minister had declined to sanction the same, citing procedural flaws in the draft. The summary has now been approved by the premier.
Moreover, The upper age limit for serving government employees (both federal and provincial) has been increased from 30 to 32 years for CSS examinations.
This age limit was reduced from 32 to 30 years for government employees and that of 30 to 28 years for other candidates appearing in CSS exams during the Musharraf regime.
Meanwhile, Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Ahsan Iqbal confirmed the news on his twitter handle as well.
