Muslim Conference mulls to cross LoC

MUZAFFARABAD: The Muslim Conference has announced to cross the Line of Control at the de facto border separating Indian and Pakistani-administered regions of the Kashmir valley in a bid to express solidarity with oppressed Kashmiris.

The move was announced by Muslim Conference leader Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, who is member of AJK Legislative Assembly and former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

“To express our solidarity with oppressed mothers and sisters and highlight Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir, we have decided to cross the Line of Control on 24 November,” Sardar Attique spoke to media persons reassuring that the party would not escalate any tension.

Sardar Attique, the President of All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, also announced to kick off a mass contact movement aimed at highlighting violation of human rights by Indian forces in Kashmir.
