ISLAMABAD: Two members of Indian High Commission in Islamabad have been found allegedly involved in terror activities to destabilise Pakistan, sources disclosed on Wednesday.
According to the details, the two diplomats are found involved in facilitating and financing terrorism in Pakistan identified as Rajesh Kumar Agnihotri and Balbir Singh.
It is reported that alleged agent of Indian spy agency ‘RAW,’ Rajesh Kumar Agnihotri is stationed at the Indian High Commission in Pakistan in the garb of Commercial Counselor. He was reportedly supervising a network of individuals involved in insurgent activities in Pakistan.
Another officer of Indian secret agency IB, Baler Singh, is stationed in Pakistan as First Secretary Press Information. He is believed to be involved in destabilising the country through a network of IB officials.
According to the sources, Indian diplomatic official Surjeet Singh who was recently expelled by Pakistan after being declared persona non grata was also part of Balbir Singh’s network.
Defence analysts have expressed that the fresh revelation could further escalate the frayed relations between the armed neighbours. Recently India expelled a Pakistani HC staffer for being allegedly involved in espionage, however Pakistan gainsaid any such allegations.
This is not the first time, Pakistan has blamed Indian officials of involvement in destabilising Pakistan. In March, pakistan arrested a RAW officer Kulbhushan Yadav.
The Indian Naval officer of the rank of Commander was reportedly working for Research and Analysis Wing. According to the sources, the Indian spy was in contact with Baloch separatists and other militant organisations.
Pakistan has repeatedly alleged that Indian spy agencies have been providing support to militants in Balochistan and different parts of the country.
