LAHORE – Punjab Food Authority (PFA) taking action on Wednesday disposed of 1200 kilogramme (kg) of dead chicken meat meant for human consumption.
The food authority carried out raids in Lahore and Gujranwala, and recovered a huge quantity of dead chicken meat, which was ready for supplying in markets.
Additional Director General Lubna Rasheed said that the authorities during an action raided a poultry farm named Rehmat Poultry near Qila Didar Singh, Gujranwala and found huge quantity of dead meat, adding that the farm has been sealed.
