RAWALPINDI – Following fake allegations leveled by Indian media regarding killing and mutilation of two soldiers at line of control, Pakistan Army officials on Tuesday rebuffed the claims of ceasefire violation.
According to the ISPR, A local commanders level hotline contact was established at Rawalakot- Poonch sector on LoC last night between Pakistan and Indian Army authorities.
Indian counterpart was told that there has been no CFV or crossing of line of control by Pakistani troops from Pakistan side nor mutilation of Indian soldiers bodies, the statement added.
Indian authorities were told that there is unnecessary media hype following the allegations. Pakistan remains fully committed to maintain peace and tranquility along the LOC and expect same from other side and hope prudence is exercised and no steps are taken that may lead to vitiating of environment and affect peace along LOC.
On Monday, the ISPR stated in its statement: “Pakistan Army did not commit any ceasefire violation on line of control or a BAT action in Buttal sector (Indian Krishna Ghatti Sector) as alleged by India. Indian blame of mutilating Indian soldiers’ bodies are also false”.
Pakistan Army is a highly professional force and shall never disrespect a soldier even Indian, read statement.
On the other hand, the Indian media is continuously blaming that Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) mutilated the bodies of two Indian soldiers on Monday in Krishna Ghati sector along the LoC.
