RAJANPUR – Unknown gunmen stormed a police outpost in Kacha area of Rajanpur district on Sunday and abducted seven policemen.
As per reports, some dacoits carrying heavy weapons resorted to firing at the post from two sides, subsequently kidnapping seven police officials.
Rajanpur DPO Attiq Tahir stated that bandits rocked the police outpost afterwards, and seven officials have disappeared, adding that there are suspicions that the attackers have abducted them.
He said that heavy contingent of police and elite force has been called to rescue the kidnapped cops, while exit and entry routes of Kacha have been sealed.
