Two killed, six injured in unprovoked Indian firing at LoC

RAWALPINDI – Two Pakistani citizens were martyred and six others injured because of unprovoked Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC).

Military media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian troops on Tuesday resorted to unprovoked firing with artillery, heavy mortars and automatic weapons along LoC targeting innocent civil population of villages Naukot and Qaiser Kot in Lipa Valley.

As a result of the cross border firing, Sumaira Younis and Maryam were martyred, while Muhammed Shakeel, Muhammed Anwar Baig, Muneer Ahmed, Zeeshan, Rafeeque Ahmed and Nasreen were injured.

The injured are being provided medical treatment at army medical facality at Lipa.

Pakistan army troops effectively engaged Indian troops and destroyed four of their posts causing heavy damage.
