Greater exchanges between Pak-Iran defence industries stressed

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and Iran have agreed to enhance cooperation in the defence sector. The understanding was reached at a meeting between Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain and Iranian Defence Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami in Tehran on Tuesday.

Rana Tanveer Hussain highlighted the great potential that exists between the two countries for cooperation in various sectors, including defence.

The Iranian Defence Minister underscored that close relationship between Pakistan and Iran will contribute to the stability of the region.

He also called for greater exchange between defence establishments of the two countries and to explore opportunities for cooperation in defence industries.

Rana Tanveer Hussain also visited the Export Promotion Centre of Iranian Ministry of Defence.
